One of the best places to have authentic Pakistani kadhai in North Carolina! We had the mutton kadhai (half), it was served piping hot, the tomato based gravy was flavorful and the meat was extremely tender. It’s served with naans, plenty for two people. We also had the chicken koobideh, that was decent. Next time we’ll try the Kabuly Uzbeki Pulao and lamb chops. Those dishes appeared to be pretty popular, several patrons had ordered them.

Very good food everyone enjoyed. Also, interesting for our family to try a new set of dishes from Afghanistan, who knew?!?!? Really enjoyed this experience, the dining room is very utilitarian, maybe ordering as takeout would be a good idea.

BLESS THE HANDS THAT PREPARED THIS FOOD AND GOD BLESS THE AFGHAN PEOPLE! This was so amazing, and YES, Afghan food can be soigné! Every detail was delicious. The Chicken Karahi HALF was so FLAVORFUL: you get smokiness from the cooking in the karahi, LAYERS OF SPICE and aromatics, and the chicken was so JUICY. The NAAN was soft and FLUFFY with right amount of chewiness. The Kabuli Rice was TENDER, the raisins were rehydrated before cooking, so they were sweet and soft. Faluda is just like Vietnamese chè or pudding. The rose is fragrant and not at all like soap. It was a very fun dessert. Others say the noodles are not soft enough, but I LIKED IT, and I think cold rice noodles are just that texture. overall, a MUST TRY!

Delicious food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was incredibly flavorful. The Spiced Chickpeas are an absolute showstopper, but we also enjoyed the Aushak (which is vegetarian), the Beef Kobidah Wrap (a lunch special), and the Firni for dessert. The Naan was fluffy and wonderful, too. This was our first time trying Afghani food, and it will definitely not be our last. We will absolutely be back!
