Having grown up in a Cuban family, he took his experience and passion for the cuisine and turned it into a restaurant that serves authentic recipes in a tropical atmosphere that'll make you feel like you're dining in Havana. Derek comes from a Cuban family and always missed having great Cuban food in the Jacksonville area. He finally decided to open up his own restaurant and realized a lifelong dream of owning a Cuban restaurant. He loves getting to share his cuisine and his heritage with the community.

I wish the star system allowed greater than 5/5 to represent service that is above and beyond. Enticing menu and swag!! We were thrilled eating the potato leek soup, Irish sausage puff pastry appetizer, Fish and Chips, and Reuben pubsandwich!! I wish there was a Culhane's close to home, but we will drive here to enjoy and come again!!!

A Consistently Great Experience at Culhane's Irish Pub Culhane's Irish Pub never disappoints, and our recent visit was no exception. This marks our 10th time dining here, and each experience has been just as enjoyable as the last. Our server, Jamie, was attentive and personable, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Jamie recommended the mussels, a recent addition to the menu, and it was an excellent suggestion. The mussels were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection in a rich, creamy sauce that had us scraping the bottom of the bowl. Be sure to order the big pretzel on the side—it’s the perfect companion to soak up that incredible sauce. Overall, the food and service at Culhane's have been consistently top-notch, and it's easy to see why we keep coming back. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you can expect a warm welcome, great food, and a memorable meal.

One of the OG Diners Drive-Ins and Dives places and it's definitely worth the trip! The Lynda's Rueben Eggrolls are out-of-bounds as Guy would say...a rueben sandwich stuffed into some wonton wraps...mmm. The Guinness Beef Stew has got to be the best I've ever had. Big chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms in a rich, thick flavorful stew. The Grilled Cheese and Salad special was Terri's choice (she also sampled the stew and eggrolls) as she's not as adventurous in her food choices. A great Irish Pub with great servers and plenty of tv's on the walls to keep up with the sports world.

Really nice locally owned restaurant. Food is really Irish and delicious, plus the prices, especially in the era of inflation, are extremely reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Irish music on Sundays.

They took great care of our group when we came through for an event. Very attentive, super friendly and personable. They replenished food when necessary and were quick to replenish drinks as well. I don't know how to compliment the service and attention they gave to us enough!!
