Fun sharing style menu, boisterous atmosphere, and good service. We had quite a few different bites off the menu. My favorites being the onion hummus, olives, beets, carrots and the braised lamb. Skip the crispy chicken, although the honey sauce was good and the chicken was tender, they were basically glorified chicken nuggets. The sangria had a nice spice to it and was not too sweet. This is our second time eating at Zhug, while in town and it’s worth the wait and price.

The food is bursting with flavor—crispy, golden fried chicken that's juicy inside, tender and aromatic lamb seasoned to perfection, and flaky cod with a delicate char that brings out its natural flavor. The sides elevate the meal even more: roasted carrots and potatoes are anything but ordinary, bringing out deep, earthy sweetness, while the hummus is silky, rich, and absolutely addictive. Every dish feels intentional and bold, with spices and textures that create a balanced, exciting meal. I had no idea such an incredible dining experience was waiting for me in Cleveland! I met a coworker here for dinner and it was absolutely incredible! Everything was perfectly done. The drinks were well balanced, service was impeccable, and the food with some of the best I ever had. I would highly recommend if you were in the area or if you have been thinking, “I should try that place soon!” This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

this is genuinely the best meal i have had in a long time 🥹 we had the burnt onion hummus, brussel sprouts, zaatar carrots, falafel, shrimp, beef kofte, and lamb. each of the items were plated beautifully and paired with the perfect flavors. there were 3 people at our table and this was the perfect amount of food(for us at least!) so i would recommend ordering about 2-3 items per person. the quality of the ingredients used is extremely apparent in the flavor of every single dish and i can’t wait to come back to try even more from the menu! thank you zhug for a wonderful meal and experience 🤗
