Yonsei Sushi in Thornton is an absolute treasure! This family-oriented restaurant is run by some of the kindest, most talented people you’ll ever meet. The care and passion they put into every dish truly shine, and it’s clear they love what they do. The sushi here rivals any top spot in Denver—seriously, it’s that good! Every piece is crafted with incredible precision, the fish is always fresh, and the flavors are absolutely phenomenal. Whether you’re a sushi lover or new to it, Yonsei will absolutely blow you away. On top of the amazing food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes every visit special. You’re treated like family the moment you walk through the door. If you’re looking for incredible sushi and a place that truly cares about their customers, Yonsei Sushi is the place to go. Highly recommend—this is my go-to sushi spot!

Came to this little gem of a Japanese restaurant in Thornton on a Saturday for an early dinner. Very friendly and attentive service, talented folks behind the itamae, and very good food! Pretty good variety of items on the menu too. Counter seating and tables available. Our tab - food only, no alcohol - came to $84 including tax and tip. Parking is a bit hard to find, as free lot is shared with all the other businesses in the shopping plaza. Overall a good experience. Recommended and will return!

I was very impressed with the service we received. The food was average with affordable pricing. The service makes it this restaurant a stop worthy place.

I particularly enjoyed the signature rolls, which were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Black Samurai roll was a standout, offering just the right kick without being overwhelming. The price point is very reasonable given the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. Overall, Yonsei Sushi is a fantastic choice for those craving delicious sushi in a welcoming environment. I can’t wait to return!
