Alright... New pizza/beer stop for you to try. Walter's Pizzeria & Publik House up by Flying Horse/North Gate. Best deep dish pizza I think I've ever had. Sauce was great. Cheese was great. Amount of toppings was great. I liked the atmosphere; big enough to be accommodating but small enough to have that small-pizzeria feel. Grab one of their cold brews of your choice (plenty on tap) and pick a pizza to try. UPDATE: 9/18/2024 - Stopped and tried the pretzel and meatball appetizers. FANTASTIC!

We hopped in after getting a referral at another store. We were seated right away even tho it was a busy Saturday afternoon. We loved the industrial vibe. After checking out the menu we tried some of the wings and a deep dish style pizza. As a Chicagoland native I had high expectations of the pizza. While the pizza is slightly different from a traditional deep dish pizza the flavors were devine! We did half pie Mrs and half B.O.M. Words escape how good it was! The wings didn't disappoint either. They were hands down the best wings I've ever had! We tried the hickory bbq flavor. We will definitely hop back in to try other options!

Thank you for making us feel comfortable. When we were first sat, we accidentally knocked over all of the table settings at our table. Rather than shame us, your staff helped us clean up and didn’t make mention of it again. It saved the evening. We spent the rest of our time enjoying the meatballs, lasagna, and pizza. Everything was delicious and we will be back again.

We ate here for Mother's day. We had 9 people in our party our server was amazing! It definitely looked like they were slammed all day however he treated us like we were his first customers. Truly impressed with Kanye! The food was amazing! We will be coming back with our entire family for family dinner everyone left happy and satisfied. Definitely an A+ staff food and atmosphere! Thanks again for a great evening!

We've been to Walter's 303 at Flying Horse about 3 or 4 times now and every time has been fantastic. Every empoloyee we've spoken to is friendly and helpful. There is seating inside and outside on a very pleasant patio. No bad seating really. But, if you're going on a weekend it gets packed ... early. We showed up Friday night thinking if we were there at 5:40p we could get seated directly. That is not the case. We were told we'd have a 40 minute wait. It turned out to only be 32 minutes. We got a drinks at the bar and waited outside. Nothing to complain about with that. They have tons beverage selections to chose from. We had perused the menu while enjoying our beer and wine so that we could order as soon as we sat down. Our waiter was knowledgeable and on the ball. We ordered the veggie delight add sausage and jalapeños. Our kids ... vegetarians, got the veggie delight as is. We all loved our pizzas! Absolutely delicious. The jalapeños were fresh rather than pickled (so you know). The sauce was perfectly zesty and not at all sweet like some places... yum! The crust was perfect. The toppings tasty. We do want to come back to try the chicago crust next time because my husband was pretty impressed watching it go by our table and someone told him that it's amazing. Instead of the typical crushed red pepper flakes, they have a variety of chili flakes from Flatiron Pepper Company available. This product is amazing. We bought four different bottles (different flavors) to bring home and we're having a great time with them. So yea, this place is top notch. Get yourself a tasty pie and you will be back for more.
