I love this restaurant and have visited here many times over the years. I still travel an hour to go back to meet family here. The environment has gotten a lot noisier over time. The food is less consistent than it once was. I ordered fish tacos and although the flavor was amazing, the fish was cold. My daughter's food came out quite a bit after everyone else. Timing is important and makes others wait too. We always enjoy their spinach dip and crab dip. Those were great! Overall this is still a favorite, just not quite as good as it once was.

The service here is phenomenal! Emily was amazing 🤩 Excellent servers with pleasant smiles. Our food was great. Got the tavern nachos as appetizer with beef & chicken. Got shrimp & grits & fish & chips. All perfectly cooked and presented. Drinks were prime to peak. Bar was packed with happy customers

We had a lovely Saturday lunch on the patio. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was flavorful and satisfying. With a variety of options for all, Village Tavern is a perfect spot for a relaxed, delicious meal.

Village Tavern is a classic! Various photos from our many visits. This is a monthly treat for family gatherings, a special occasion, or to catch up with old friends. They have an open kitchen and great service. There's plenty of great alcohol choices, during and after cafe choices, and the presentation is always stellar.
