Specialties: Inspired by Napa Valley's style of farm-to-table cuisine, Truffle Pig Executive Chef Ezra Duker integrates local and regional products throughout the menu that are perfectly complemented by a range of microbrews, organic wines and clever cocktails on the bar list. A gourmand through and through, Duker's experience at renowned restaurants in Oregon and Northern California bears great influence on his signature dishes in Steamboat, many of which have already emerged as local favorites since its debut this summer. Among the most requested are Mussels and Fries presented in a cast iron pot with a white wine and garlic confit; the Truffle Pig Bacon Burger served on a brioche bun with aged cheddar, lettuce, tomato and onio; the Baby Beet Salad and Gnocchi of the Day. Flatbreads, pasta and pizza dough are always made daily from scratch. The adjacent Truffle Pig Market offers a full coffee bar, seasonal soups, fresh salads, savory wraps, hearty sandwiches and pizza by the slice. Established in 2010. Idyllically situated at the base of Mt. Werner, the Truffle Pig is Steamboat's newest and most vibrant mountainside dining establishment. The ski-in/ ski-out restaurant at One Steamboat Place is open daily for lunch, après-ski and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating year-round.

Had a great time dining here for 3 out of my 5 nights while in Steamboat. I only intended to go there one night for dinner but the food and staff were too good to pass up! Ashley in particular was the one who took care of me from behind the bar each night and was extremely friendly and welcoming. She took the time to talk to me and get to know me as well as was always checking in on me or even simply making the effort to acknowledge me when she passed by. All of the other employees were great as well! Even though I was being served by Ashley other bartends and severs asked me how I was doing when they came behind the bar. The food and drinks were also some of the best I’ve had in Steamboat as well and are definitely worth the price for the quality and amazing presentation. During my three visits there I had the Scallops, Scottish Salmon, and Halibut and while all were 5 star meals the salmon was definitely my favorite as it’s my favorite type of fish. I originally intended to visit a different restaurant with my family on the last night of the trip but when Ashley mentioned the Halibut to me after remembering I had seafood the previous 2 visits I couldn’t pass up the recommendation.

We walked in without a reservation for two people around 8pm on a Thursday night. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Our waiter, Ben, was very helpful and attentive. He suggested a very good Syrah wine. We ordered the Ceasar salad, elk loin, filet minion and broccolini. The ceasar had anchovies in it which wasn’t what we were expecting. The broccolini was a little salty. The elk loin and filet were magnificent. We had an old fashioned cream and an expresso martini which were very good. Ben was an exceptional server. We will be going back!

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Truffle Pig in Steamboat Springs, and it’s hands-down a 5-star spot! Nestled right at the base of the ski area, the location is unbeatable—perfect for a post-slope meal or a cozy evening out. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with stunning views of Mount Werner and a lively patio that’s ideal for soaking in the mountain vibes. The food was nothing short of spectacular. I tried the Truffle Pig Bacon Burger, and it might just be the best burger I’ve ever had—juicy Kobe beef, aged cheddar, and those famous truffle fries that live up to the hype with their crispy, flavorful perfection. The Mussels and Fries were another highlight, served in a cast-iron pot with a garlicky white wine sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. And the Baby Beet Salad? Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced—a total treat for the senses. The service was top-notch, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktail menu is a standout too—creative and expertly crafted, with options like the Battle of the Agaves that paired perfectly with the meal. Truffle Pig nails every detail, from the farm-to-table ingredients to the warm, inviting vibe. It’s a must-visit in Steamboat Springs—I’m already looking forward to my next trip back!
