Torchy's Tacos was founded in 2006 in Austin, Texas, when a man with a dream bought a food trailer and a vibrant red Vespa. Mike Rypka, founder of Torchy's Tacos, built a menu out of experimental tacos that were coined by fans as "Damn Good." By living the Damn Good mantra, Torchy's Tacos is always innovating to deliver the most unique tacos, award-winning queso and refreshing margaritas in the taco game, including the Taco of the Month, an untraditional taco offering that keeps our taco fans coming back for more.

Picked up some burritos and tacos to go at the Boulder location. Food was served up hot and fresh. The person taking the order was super chill and very helpful. Highly recommended as the family tore into it like a wild pack of hyenas.

Torchy’s Tacos is a fantastic spot for both taco lovers and vegetarians alike! Their menu offers a great variety of delicious options, including some excellent vegetarian choices. The Fried Avocado Taco is a standout, with crispy avocado, refried beans, and fresh toppings that make every bite flavorful. The Independent is another great pick, featuring mushrooms, roasted corn, and a touch of spice for a satisfying meal. Beyond the food, the service is top-notch—friendly, fast, and always accommodating. The staff is happy to help with modifications and ensures a great dining experience. The best tacos in Boulder! Pepe is the manager and absolutely takes care of his customers. Amazing guy! Nick also is Amazing and makes the best drinks! Highly recommend this place!

If you have only driven past and wondered, or made assumptions, then you don’t understand. Trust me. You must understand. You can only understand if you take a chance, go down deep inside and find your inner gambler, find a place to park, go on in and order. Try The Taco of The Month, you will thank me. Get a Trailer Park (Chicken). Try it “Trashy”. The Republican will blow your mind with brisketey goodness in tangy sweet barbeque. It’s not just damn good, it’s Knock Down, Bash Mouth, roll your peepers back in your head Damn Good! If you don’t like tacos, Torchy’s also has burritos and bowls. With a full bar, it’s drinks all around, too. If you can’t trust me, trust your inner gambler. You’ll thank me.

Great vibe and atmosphere. This restaurant does get loud when it is full. When we walked in there was no line but we did wait quite awhile for our food. It was graduation weekend so it was very busy everywhere. The food was great! Everyone in our party loved their food. The tortillas were so soft and fluffy. Highly recommend!
