Came here on a Saturday morning. Place was pretty busy and parking is easy to find. Set at an airfield (hence their name), the restaurant is heavy on the aviation theme. A lot of photos of older planes. We were a group of 7-8, and the waitress was very attentive, patient and helpful. I ordered a Runway Burger with a fresh patty with fries on the side. That burger was delicious! Good size and the meat was perfectly cooked! Everyone else in the party were definitely satisfied with their breakfast. Overall, a gem of a spot in Woodlake. Very nice waitresses and the food was delicious. I highly recommend coming here.

The Runway Cafe is the epitome of small town charm and hospitality. Growing up in Exeter, I ate here often and have continued to when I’m home visiting family. It was an especially meaningful spot for my Grandpa - everyone in my family had special moments and life chats with him at the Runway Cafe. I can’t speak highly enough about the current ownership. They go above and beyond to welcome everyone warmly and provide hearty meals. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always see a familiar face and know you’re home. The food is exactly what it should be here - simple, affordable, filling and delicious! This last visit I tried the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and HOLY MOLY have I been missing out. It’s the best I’ve ever had! The hash-browns are always the right amount of crispy, eggs aren’t overdone, and your coffee cup will never be empty. Thank you for all that you do, Runway Cafe Team! You’re amazing!

We stopped by to eat brunch after a full day in the park and the food was so delicious and fresh. The hospitality is unmatched the bathroom are clean fresh coffee pouring. We are from the east coast and this was better than our diners for sure!
