Main Street. 1930 Curtis Chicken in the Rough occupies the space until 1978. 1982 Andy Gulvezan opens the Full Moon, which eventually changed to the One-Eyed Moose, back to the Full Moon, then the Monkey Bar and finally back to the Full Moon in 2009. Uh a meal in downtown Ann Arbor for four for under $100 dollars. I didn’t think that was possible and to have it be this good too… Wow. Went here for Mother’s Day and started with the shrimp and the sprouts. Shrimp were very good and crispy but the Brussels sprouts were heavenly. Super crispy with plenty of bacon. I had the fish tacos and the fish was super crunchy maybe just add a little more sauce. I really enjoyed the corn tortillas they came in which were lightly fried to give them a little crispness. UPDATE: Revisited in Mother’s Day 2024. Prices have gone up significantly. The charcuterie board was great. The Lox appetizer was too heavy on the horseradish. The duck was overcooked and dry. Fish tacos were still good.

Nice ambiance and decent food- Finally decided to try The Raven’s Club after passing by and seeing it countless times. The restaurant has a very calm pub-like vibe. The outdoor seating’s extra nice in the late summer/early fall when Main St closes off to traffic in the evening. Ordered the chicken sandwich and honestly enjoyed it. The steak frites are also just juicy and a good deal for the portion size and price. Also liked how straight to the point the menu here is. I’d come back for sure.

Only reason why a 4 in food is cuz there’s no 4.5 and we only had appetizers and those were delicious!!! The drinks where on point and well made/mixed. The service was awesome as was the vibe and atmosphere!! Visiting from miami where the bar scene is top notch so “The Raven” was great to enjoy a well made drink and chill in a true bar/speak easy vibe spot!! Definitely a “will come back”!! Bartender gets a 5/5

Great for cocktails! Their beer and whiskey shot is around 6$ which is crazy cheap. The cocktails cost around 12$ pretty normal I’d say. They have a good (but a bit sweet) old fashioned

Moody lounge with great drinks and solid snacks. We had the ginger beer cocktails (gin and vodka), these were priced super well and tasted pretty good. We also ordered the fries to snack on. The fries themselves were pretty decent with a nice ranch dip to go with it. The atmosphere is what really sells this place. It is an awesome place for a date or to have an intimate conversation. Most of the tables are set up for pairs; combined the low lighting+decor, this creates a relaxed and focused environment for you and your partner. Went for the vibes, will return because of the vibes.
