Duffeyrolls were introduced in May 1986, on two pushcarts on the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver by co-founders Jim Duffey (former oilman) and Nick Ault (former social chemist ie Bartender). The uncommonly delicious taste of Duffeyrolls gained a following with the Downtown pedestrian crowd and later that summer at local Farmers Markets. Originally - we baked Duffeyrolls out of a rented commissary. In November of 1986 - we opened up Duffey's Bakery. (Circumstances led to Duffey selling to Nick in 1987) Over the years the legend of Duffeyrolls spread through word of mouth per our pushcarts, bakery, wholesale and door to door sales in office buildings. The Duffeyroll Cafe has become a warm and friendly gathering place with great energy, music and colorful atmosphere with a signature morning and lunch menu that features a complimentary fresh Duffeyroll at most every turn. We now have 3 Cafes, Delivery, Gift of Duffeyrolls local delivery, VW Bus Street Vending and Fundraising

This place was great for breakfast along South Pearl. Decided to check this place out since it looked really good, and it was definitely worth the try. The Snappy Sausage Sandwich was so good and get one of their DuffeyRoll‘s. They were absolutely amazing. Hot Chocolate was good and hot. The staff were also very friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of bakery and breakfast items. It’s worth checking out!

This was an accidental find that I will visit on purpose from now on. The sweet rolls amazing. The bacon roll Oh. My. Gawd. Get it. The cyst was crips and flaky. Bit soft and tasty in the center. Also get the orange roll. You will not regret making the trip to. Get a Duffeyroll.

I still like a good Duffyroll every now and then. I've been to most of their locations and this one does disappoint. Their breakfast sandwiches are good. Do I wish I could sub the scrambled eggs for real eggs (to avoid dairy) yes, but I've been asking for years off and on and they don't do it.

Coffee shop with selection of pastries/rolls in various flavors and their own oatmeal brand. They also have breakfast & lunch sandwiches. The drip coffee was very good. My favorite rolls are the Zesty Orange and the Raspberry Lemon. Service was fast and friendly; I felt welcomed here. The space is pretty large and there is outside seating in a patio area. They do have password protected Wi-Fi available for guests. It was pretty quiet here. Parking is limited and can be difficult. I was lucky to find a nearby spot.

Every time I walk in, she greets customers with a warmth and genuine kindness that feels increasingly rare these days. Beyond her incredible customer service, Megan clearly takes pride in the quality of what’s coming out of the kitchen. The rolls are always perfectly baked, fresh, and served with a smile. She’s lightning-fast during a rush, but never loses her friendly, approachable demeanor. It’s honestly impressive to watch her balance efficiency and hospitality so effortlessly. Whether you're a regular or it's your first visit, Megan makes you feel like you're right at home. Her positive energy and attention to detail elevate the whole Duffy Roll experience.
