The Duck and The Peach

What a wonderful, long-awaited first visit to Duck & The Peach! I love it when a restaurant lives up to its hype, and that was the case here. First, the staff was professional, welcoming, helpful and great at their jobs; the menu was creative; the dishes were superb; the drinks were tasty; and the night was memorable. I happened to be dining mostly with vegetarian friends last night, so the items trended in that direction. I was not disappointed. The carrots, salad, beer risotto and brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious. The lamb chops were delightful, and my only regret is not being able to try some of the other meat dishes. I had neither a duck nor a peach, and alas, I loved my experience and will be back soon.

We have gone here for Valentine’s Day and it has been great both times! The carrots are my absolutely amazing! The drinks are also very tasty and I hear their pastry chef is the best in town, though every time we go we are too full for dessert! We sat by the kitchen window which made for a fun time watching them cut of the ducks :)

The food at The Duck and the Peach was incredible—every dish was beautifully made, and the cinnamon roll was truly unforgettable. Service was just okay; our server seemed a bit distracted. The biggest downside was the noise—it was really hard to hold a conversation because of the poor acoustics. Still, the quality of the food made it worth it. Would definitely come back for the flavors alone.

Super nice dinning area around the Eastern Market. The duck fat home fires were so good! Definitely recommended. We ordered the duck carnitas, the cinnamon roll, and the brunch burger! It was all so delicious! Love all the style of the indoor and outdoor dining area.
