My husband and I were craving a fish fry and just happened upon this place on our way through to Wausau. We were both very pleased to be seated by the window overlooking the lake. The interior is classy, our service was fantastic, the food came fast and delicious! We had calamari and walleye bites appetizers. We both enjoyed the fish fry we were craving.

What a super fun place to hangout and have dinner. The bartender was so nice and what an amazing person. I wish I could remember her name. The food was very good. Plus we ended up having an amazing view of the water ski show.

The view was phenomenal. I had the prime rib sandwich and my husband had the Rueben. Both were excellent! I would definitely come back again!

The Boathouse was a fun lakeside atmosphere. Hardly any time for waiting, and food brought out shortly after ordering. Our view on the lake was beautiful with live piano music playing in the background. My only thoughts were pricing that while this is a restaurant with the views, the pricing of the chicken sandwich I don’t see worth $15… Other than pricing, I would recommend this out to anyone visiting in the area!

I'm not associated with the place. I'm staying in the area for vacation and wanted to try the place. The server was excellent and suggested the Blackened Walleye. Excellent choice!
