I recently visited Tempo Cantina in Downey and had a generally positive experience. The restaurant itself is small, with old tables and chairs that give it a somewhat rustic feel. While the ambiance is cozy and inviting, the decor could use an update. The drinks were good, but not particularly memorable. The cocktails were well-made, but lacked a wow factor. The food was similarly decent, but not outstanding. There were some highlights, but overall, it felt like the dishes could benefit from a bit more refinement. Despite these criticisms, Tempo Cantina has a certain charm that's hard to deny. Overall, I'd recommend Tempo Cantina to those looking for a casual, laid-back spot with a good atmosphere. had a great time with my friends, great food and drinks! the workers continuously checked in and made sure we were having a great time and checking to see if we needed anything else! Diana really stood out! She was a great server 10/10

I really like this place. It’s really a cool vibe but you definitely have to be in the mood for it because normally it’s quite a long wait and it’s super busy almost gives you wait to get into a club type of vibe so if that’s not what you’re gonna move for this is definitely not the place for you, but I’ve also come here a little afternoon when they first open and had a way better more chill experience so it is sort of depends on what time you go, but overall the food is pretty good. The drinks are good. The vibe is good.
