I always love a good home cooked meal—even if it costs three times tge price of one. The atmosphere of the restaurant is what I believe attracts most people to it. The food itself is good but not in a “omg I NEED to eat this again” way. The Shepards pie was a little bland, the chicken pot pie a little soupy, and the side of peas felt lack luster. The flavors were mostly on point though. My absolute favorite was the spiced ginger cake. It was warm and had a perfect spice level which dissipated with the warm custard. I can only accurately describe it as a warm hug by your favorite grandma.

My friends and I came here a few days ago for afternoon tea and it was such a lovely experience! The service was great and the staff were so attentive. It is a small place so the tables can get cramped quickly, so just be mindful of that when ordering. I got the earl grey, and our platters came with sandwiches (egg salad, chicken salad, curry, ham n cheese, and a few others I’m forgetting), and pastries (lemon cake, cupcakes, biscuits with butter and jam, etc.). My friend also got the beef stew and it was delicious as well. Would definitely come back!

Afternoon tea for 1 is an absolute bounty of food for $60. Came with a slice of cake, cupcake, 3 scones, 9 small finger sandwiches, and an ample pot of tea. Scones came with clotted cream and jam and were wonderfully buttery and crumbly. Cutest little shop albeit small. It’s quite cozy.

The best sandwiches I’ve ever had at a British tea restaurant. 11/10 food. The dessert brings my tongue into a blissful state. Friendly staff. I appreciate that they don’t go up to the table every 5 seconds like lots of restaurants do. They allow you to sit peacefully to yourself without filling up your cup with water without your permission. A relaxing aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and the decor is stunning
