This is a great place for brunch. There is a variety of breakfast options, most options include eggs. I wish they had more vegan and non-egg options.

Tangerine in Old Town Lafayette is a super cute atmosphere with excellent service and food. Today we had the Bacon & Avocado Bennies with a stack of three buttermilk pancakes topped with blueberries, and my partner had a waffle. I only snapped pictures of the Bennies and pancakes. Overall, the food was delicious and the serve was great. When the waitress brought us our food one of my poached eggs decided to make a fast break and fell off of my plate, but our awesome server made the moment right and brought me a new poached egg. The pancakes were perfectly crisp on the edges and cooked well throughout. I really enjoyed my two dishes. We will definitely be coming back and I give this place my full recommendation for the great experience we had today. I hope this review helps!

Tangerine is a total gem! We came in on a busy Sunday morning and were blown away by the fast service, incredible food, and friendly vibe. The Spanish omelette was dreamy—packed with chorizo, cheese, bell peppers, garlic, onions, and all the savory goodness you could want. It came with sourdough toast and the most exquisite jam—sweet, tangy, and the perfect contrast to the savory dish. We also had the fluffiest, most heavenly pancakes topped with strawberries and caramel sauce—seriously melt-in-your-mouth amazing. In between every bite, we kept stopping just to say, “Yum. That literally felt like heaven for my taste buds!” It was that good. The drinks were on point—a pistachio latte and a golden root chai latte that were both flavorful, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The vibes were top-tier, with super fun lights adding to the cheerful, cozy atmosphere ✨ Our server was incredibly sweet and welcoming—and her Pac-Man earrings made our morning! From first bite to last sip, it was a full-on flavor party we can’t wait to RSVP to again! 10/10 recommend! 🥞☕️❤️

A great breakfast place. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I had the multigrain pancakes and it was delicious. The cinnamon butter and pear sauce was the best. Coffee was strong. It hit the spot. If you want a good breakfast, this is the place to go.

I decided to try the vegetarian burrito, and I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and satisfying it was. The combination of ingredients was well thought out, with fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned beans, and just the right amount of spice. Everything was wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla that held together nicely without being too heavy. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into both the preparation and the quality of the ingredients, and I genuinely enjoyed every bite. What really stood out, aside from the food, was the excellent service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. They greeted me with a smile, took my order promptly, and made sure everything was just right. The food arrived quickly, which was impressive given how fresh it tasted. It’s always a bonus when a place can combine great food with efficient service, and this spot definitely delivered on both fronts. The atmosphere added even more to the experience. The space was clean, cozy, and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the meal. Whether you're dining alone, meeting a friend, or grabbing a quick bite, the environment feels welcoming and comfortable. Between the delicious food, excellent service, and pleasant setting, it was a memorable visit that I’d definitely be happy to repeat.
