The dining room is very clean. I did an order to go, but i would probably eat there next time. Got the monster breakfast burrito. It is very large size and delicious. Be sure to grab the salsa you like from the self-serve salsa bar. These guys have a 24/7 drive thru. I've dined in a couple times since. The carnitas plate is excellent and huge. I sometimes need a to go box.

I had the carne asada fries. The carne asada was great as were all the toppings. The shoestring fries were not, over fried and some were even burnt. Which makes me wary of anything fried there. I'm gonna try a burrito next time.

Reminds me of the Mexican food I used to get down in Tucson. I love this place and eat here all the time even though it’s a 30 minute drive. Most places nowadays get their food premade and essentially throw it in a microwave, fryer, or under a broiler. Mexican places like this are some of the last affordable restaurants where someone will actually cook real food. The food is made from ingredients, right there in the restaurant. Unlike the highly processed “food” that is made in a factory and shipped frozen. And yet I see people lined up around the block to buy Burger King or Chick-fil-A or Samurai Jacks. Expensive, gross, incredibly unhealthy. It’s baffling to me. I mention this because there is never a line at Taco Palace. The food is great, and fresh. It’s hard to describe how much better the food is than somewhere like Burger King or Arby’s. If Taco Palace is getting your income tax return 2 weeks early and $1000 more than expected, Burger King would be like getting home and your house has burned to the ground. If Taco Palace was getting your dream job, Arby’s would be like going to the hospital for a blood clot and you need to have your leg amputated. Of course, I’m not a fan of American industrialized fast “food”, but Taco Palace is at least 2-3 leagues above any of those. There is nothing on any American fast food menu I’ve ever seen that is as good as their Adobada Fries. That’s my go-to. Their fries are great, actual nice and thick and super crispy fries. Then they basically make nachos on top, with adobada (a type of meat, I think braised). If you’ve ever had a Super Fries, it’s that but with Adobada instead of Carne Asada. They do a GREAT job making it without cheese (I ask them to add some pico and sometimes some kind of sauce). That’s not common. Most places end up making something that feels halfway between national tragedy and hate crime, an affront to food as a concept. But Taco Palace, I’m never disappointed. Ever. Lately I’ve been getting the monster burrito. It’s like 5 meats, potatoes, egg, and cheese. I get 2-3 and then I can eat them for a couple days. The ones I get in the evening are better, they do better at grilling the tortilla and getting it nice and crispy. I’m was sitting here eating my burrito and realized I had never even rated these guys, despite coming here dozens of times. Well, here it is. I hope you keep making great affordable food for decades to come.

Love this place. Pricing is solid for the portions you get. Never had anything bad from here. Tried the Chile Colorado this time. Normally get a smothered breakfast burrito. Love they serve breakfast 24 hours a day.
