Chose to come to Succotash for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Got a reservation but it likely wasn’t needed between 4-5pm. Service was great and the food was amazing! Chicken and waffles very good. The fried chicken alone was likely the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It was super crisp yet also tender and flavorful. Pimento cheese burger and fries was also very good. Nice grilled flavor in the beef. Fries were well cooked and the spicy ketchup was nice. Got a side of the old bay macncheese. Super cheesy and I would highly recommend. Also tried the Cactus Rose and Pandan Dew. Both were tasty. Pandan was a unique flavor.

A nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in. We came for brunch on a Sunday so it was fairly busy. The wings are a must try, the cocktails are well made also. The only complaint is the service speed. We were seated in the bar area so I assume this is why. Other than that we enjoyed our visit and would recommend others to go also.

Love love love Succotash. We had Taste of the South and was BLOWN AWAY by the food. Come with a group so you can really share. Must get steak, greens, pickled okra, shrimp and grits, and the cornbread. Service from Jeizon D was chef's kiss! Met our every need, cleared and cleaned our tables like a 5-star french restaurants. Drinks flowing all night. And who doesn't love this ambiance!?!?

One of the rare restaurants where the non-steak menu completely outshines the steak. The Ssam was an awesome appetizer, and the fried oysters had a very satisifying crunch. Their "Today's Catch" is consistently great here. They use spice exceptionally well, delivering that straightforward flavor that perfectly cuts through - exactly what you'd expect from Korean inspired food. It gets a bit loud, though. Plus, unlike a lot of other DC spots right now, they don't tack on any hidden service fees. What you see is what you get. Also, love their craft beer 🍺

My husband brought me here back in December for a birthday surprise, the whole experience was amazing! Jakarri our server was top-notch. His knowledge of the restaurant and food recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed the wings, deviled eggs, cornbread, mac n cheese, pimento burger, and the chefs special black-eyed pea hummus as well as the delicious mocktails. I can't forget the delicious hummingbird cake. I especially enjoyed learning the history of Chef Lee. Jeff the manager was great and friendly. We highly recommend and look forward to returning soon! Thank you for an amazing time!
