This was our first time at this restaurant. We selected it spontaneously, and it turned out to be perfect. We had front door parking (rare in VA), someone had just pulled out. The service was great. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive to our needs (refilling glasses, bringing us more napkins and condements, etc. without us having to ask.). He had a pleasant smile and a warm personality that made you feel welcomed. The food was delicious! I had the fried green tomatoes for my appetizer and the blackened catfish for the entree. I highly recommend both! We plan to go back. It was a great experience, especially for a busy Saturday.

Decent experience walking through. They have daily dinner specials and a happy hour menu. Had the happy hour nachos and the pork chop with risotto.

Only in the area for a CCW class but we will back. The menu selection was crazy and it was impossible to choose even after we hadn’t eaten all day. The crawfish poboy and jumbalaya cheesesteak caught my eye until I saw red beans and rice. The andouille was grilled to perfection and the rice and beans very well seasoned. Friend got the chicken fried steak and we split both. Atmosphere is really cool and nostalgic. Plenty of beer on tap and any cocktail you can imagine. Pedro was an awesome bartender. Don’t forget to ask him about a reverse tequila shot 😂

Lively neighborhood bar. Can be busy during the happy hour which ends at 7 pm weekdays. I was standing at the bar for a little over five minutes just before happy hour ended and it was so busy (on a Friday) that the bartender couldn't get to me until my watch said 7 pm. Initially he refused to honor the happy hour price, but when I explained that I had been standing there for a little while, he agreed. Good selection of beers.
