Specialties: Homestyle cooking at its best served in a historic diner that opened in 1933. Enjoy a hearty breakfast and lunch, and of course a famous giant cinnamon roll! Bloody Mary's, mimosas, and local micro brews are a great addition to any meal. Established in 1933. Leonidas “Flossie” Widger opened the 1-room Silver Grill Cafe in 1933. Legend has it a hungry sign painter came up with the name and painted it on the window for a pork chop lunch. Years later, John Arnolfo and a friend purchased the 1-room, unheated diner on Valentine’s Day 1979. Over the years John expanded Silver Grill into the four old buildings next door. After 42 years as owner, John turned the reins over to new owners Alan and Jackie Jantzen who continue Silver Grill’s tradition of serving great home style comfort food. It was in 1986 that John perfected his cinnamon roll recipe and added them to the menu. Today, our cinnamon rolls are world famous. We make 12,000 each month!

Mighty good breakfast. A Ft. collins draw and well worth the trip. Superior and friendly service. Huge portions - so we took doggie bags so that we could try their “famous” cinnamon rolls. These babies are as large as your hand- palm to fingers. While they have crispy bottomless home fries- we were WAY too full to order a second helping. We split one regular sized pecan roll and one small plain cinnamon roll among 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Pure Heaven! Delish!! Very kid friendly. Took our grand boys on our last family vacation and they loved it!

My first visit to The Silver Grill Café was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. I ordered the country-fried steak, and wow—talk about comfort food done right! The steak was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in the most flavorful gravy. To top it off, I tried their famous cinnamon roll, and it was out of this world! Soft, gooey, and just the right amount of sweetness—it’s worth the trip alone. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend this local gem!

So glad we decided to try this spot while we were in town for the weekend. Great home cooked, family owned vibes. Bacon was thick cut and smoked, so good. Very tasty biscuits and gravy. Pecan roll was delicious.

The Silver Grill never disappoints. We've been going here since it was a single counter service and a few booths. Still the same great service and mouth watering food. Breakfast has expanded to include some excellent options. We'll be back next time we're in town. Thanks for keeping it going.

Such delicious and quality food! We have come here a few times and it’s always so good. The service here is flawless too! The cinnamon roll and the bear claw are both must-try’s!! They’re so delicious and massive. The corned beef is savory and comes with a hefty portion of corned beef too! The green chili is super good with a nice subtle spice. The avocado toast and the yogurt bowl were both good and pretty standard. The cinnsational chicken was definitely my favorite! The cinnamon toast is so tasty and is a great balance to the salty, savory chicken. We will definitely continue to come back here!
