Sherpa House in Golden is a cozy and welcoming restaurant with great Himalayan and Nepalese food. The atmosphere is peaceful and unique, with traditional decor and a lovely outdoor seating area. The service is friendly, and the momos and curry dishes are especially delicious. A great spot for a relaxing meal in Golden!

I loved the Sherpa House. It was a fantastic experience. And it had great food! I ordered the Yak Curry and was pleasantly surprised! This is not a place that you can get in and get out quick. From my experience, it seems that it is designed for you to take your time and enjoy the atmosphere and experience. Service is not in a rush to get you in and out, and I kinda liked that. The best part about this place is the experience. It was so much fun, and it felt like we were sucked into a whole new world for an hour of our day! Definitely will return!

They have a buffet!! I love the restaurant, and its ambience. We ate in what in courtyard where a large mulberry tree was in the middle and created a beautiful canopy. It has lights on it so I imagine it must be beautiful at night. The food was good, I enjoyed it. The flavors were lighter than typical Indian restaurants. I had the rice, naan, chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, tandoori chicken, veg chow-mein, and onion bhagi, and yummy hot sauce. Naan was plain so you might want to skip and for the main items. I really enjoyed the veg chow mein, it was probably one of my favorite items. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and had a good light flavor. Chicken vindaloo is usually not one of my choices in general, but this one was good, not overly spiced and it didn’t give me heartburn, lol. I enjoyed the onion bhaji which I enjoyed dipping into the masala sauce, but it didn’t have a lot of filling. The hot sauce was unique, yummy, very flavorful and had a little kick to it. Overall I enjoyed my meal. People didn’t seem welcoming and the service was ok. I ran out of water and nobody around to refill. Lady inside gift shop was really nice. I would still recommend going here at least once.

Beautiful restaurant indoor and outdoor. The detailed decorations immerse you in Tibetan setting. Food was really good. We came for lunch buffet, had a variety of food good quality and delicious. Wonderful experience.
