From someone who's spent a 2-week vacation in Thailand eating delicious curries every day, I can honestly say that this restaurant serves real, authentic Thai food. The food here has a very home-cooked meal vibe. You will not be disappointed. The panang curry with tofu is to die for. 🤤 Thank you for being vegan/vegetarian friendly.

It was my first visit to Samphaothai. A small restaurant with a warm and lovely atmosphere.The entrees and appetizers were delicious , especially Choo Chee Gung was tasty. The service was nice.I recommend and will return.

Drunken noodle with seafood was delicious. It was medium spicy and the sauce was just right amount and well cooked. Seafood in the noodle was fresh as well. Iced tea was also good. The building is really old so it has that old building smell and stickiness. Staff was very friendly. I would love to try more dish.

I forgot to take a photo of my food 🙌 ⁉️ 💯 but I will say this place is an incredibly cute hole in the wall in an incredibly cute part of town. The food is good (how can Thai food be bad) and affordable in this economy. The lady working there was incredibly sweet. If you're in this part of town and you're hungry I recommend at least considering this place
