While eating at a restaurant across the street from this one, my partner noticed the sign and thought we should check it out (he loves subs and deli sandwiches) so when we returned to our hotel for the day, he checked out the place on Google. Food looked amazing so we stopped by for lunch. We were quite literally blown away by how good this food was. You get great food for the price too, my partner's sandwich was pleasantly packed with meat and toppings and my BBQ pastrami sandwich was delicious. The best pastrami I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and melt in your mouth tender. 10/10 would most definitely return on another trip to Boston.

The BEST pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten in my entire life. This is a MUST TRY if you're near Boston commons. 🥪😭🤍 The chitpole pastrami sandwich was really good but their other pastrami sandwiches are probably good as well.

First time here for lunch and these sandwiches are so delicious. The size of the sandwich was perfect I was left happy and full afterwards. I had the Diablo Pastrami, it was said to be spicy but being from south Texas I honestly didn’t find it to be spicy at all. It was actually just really good flavor and delicious, pair with a Mexican coke was just the cherry on top.

Sam LaGrassa’s boasts that it’s the number one sandwich shop in the world. With a claim that big and bold, I was naturally skeptical. No further than one bite in and I was all in. It didn’t just meet expectations – it blew past them. As a chicken parm enthusiast, I knew what I was getting the second I saw the words chicken and parm. And wow – crispy cutlet, rich marinara, melty cheese, all wrapped in a warm sesame roll. It hit all the right notes. The pastrami on garlic bread was equally appetizing. Smoky, tender, stacked high, with tomato and mozzarella on perfectly crisp, buttery garlic bread. And the fries? Simple, old-school, golden, crispy – something your grandma would serve with love. The setting is straight-up mom-and-pop – unpretentious, welcoming, and totally focused on the food. There’s a line, sure – but it moves quick. I left thinking to myself: this might actually be the best sandwich in the world.
