We had dinner here before the Billy Joel Sting concert without a reservation. Even with being booked they sat us at the bar. Abby, our bartender was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and on point with everything. She gave great recommendations and was on point with everything. The drinks were top notch and the fellow patrons at the bar were super cool. The food was delicious! The sea bass, and their Hawaiian fish special with 2 scallops was so good. I will definitely be back! I’d give 10 stars for this experience if I could!

We HIGHLY recommend Salt on Mass for its consistently dependable service and detectable menu offerings! My husband David treated us to a delightful dinner on Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. (I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again.) We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Perfect for special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our appetizer. :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with amazingly smooth risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. The food was excellent. We had calamari and dumplings for apps, both really good. Grouper,Sea Bass, and Scallops for our meals. Grouper and Scallops had the tomato sauce, and the Sea Bass had the lemon garlic sauce. Service was spot on, and our waitress was a great help picking our sauce for the seafood.

Everything was exceptionally perfect last night. The food was brilliantly prepared, the drinks were beautifully crafted and the service was nothing less than excellent. Hannah our waitress was refreshingly warm, genuine and honestly the kind of person the world needs more of. We enjoyed the pan seared scallops with the Parmesan risotto with lobster and the taco trio. We had 1/2 dozen oysters for an appetizer and it was perfect! I love that the oysters are naturally sourced and not farm raised. Those unnecessarily large oysters are not the same IMO. We enjoyed the shoreline fizz, the breezy, the dew of the sea and a lemon drop martini. All beautiful. Dessert we had the crepe brûlée and berries and cream. It was perfect! Can’t remember why we waited so long to try Salt on Mass but so happy we finally did. We are now loyal!

Noisy, hard to have a conversation. Dining room close tables. Food excellent. Flavorful, well seasoned. Lamb tender cut with a butter knife. Mash potatoes were creamy. Fettuccine Alfredo sauce hint of garlic, smooth sauce, not rich texture. Staff attentive to needs and refills. Pricing of entrees on the higher side but the location of the restaurant equals what is expected.
