This is one of the first times that I’m truly excited to write a glowing review. Before visiting, I’ve only had Peruvian food one other time. However, this place does not disappoint when it comes to flavor and each aspect of my meal was perfect. I was immediately impressed by the first bite of my food. I ordered the churrasco al jugo (steak medium rare and eggs over easy). The avocado was also fresh. Thank you to the kind waitress who suggested this dish when I was craving steak today. The atmosphere is also very cozy and warm. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’m happy to return to Sabor Mix.

First time in 20 years living in Jax that I’ve had authentic tasting Peruvian food of high quality in a clean environment. We had yucca a la huancaina for appetizer, lomo saltado for main entree and picarones for dessert. Even the chicha morada drink was perfection. Staff was friendly.

Saw the pictures and reviews and decided to give it a try on a Monday evening. Mhadhy was very thorough explaining all the questions we asked her as this was only our second time trying Peruvian food. The Ceviche al Aji was very good but the Picante de Mariscos was such a delicious, creamy surprise. I would recommend this place with ease.

I loved the cerviche here!! It’s perfectly balanced with fish (they serve a lot of it) and lime ! The service is excellent. They immediately sit you down and are very kind to you. The drinks were delicious. I also had their flan, it was super delicious and soft. I really enjoyed my time here and I hope everyone else does too!
