All our meals were delicious! I got the kale Caesar, hubs got the lamb sliders, and our two boys got the burger. We ate at their restaurant in the Denver airport, so quick service was paramount, and they delivered in getting us ordered, served, paid, and our the door with doggie bags within an hour! Server was attentive but never felt rushed. Sweet potato and regular fries were crispy, delicious, ie, not oily, and held up well to finishing the leftovers on our flight home. Would love to visit their regular restaurant on a return to to Denver!

They're always really busy, but the service and food never suffer. The manager, Carrie, stopped by our table to see how we were doing. We generally order the carrot hummus with extra veggies. The duck wings are an interesting option, just be prepared that they're messy.

Unexpected Gem at DIA! I had the veggie burger at Root Down and was genuinely blown away—how is this place even in an airport? The flavors were fresh, bold, and totally unexpected for terminal dining. What really stood out were the sauces: the house-made ketchup was tangy and delicious, and the yellow yogurt sauce (which I initially thought was mustard) added the perfect creamy kick. Highly recommend if you're passing through Denver! Ask for Emmy Jo - five star service 🚀🚀🚀

Great food and good service at an airport restaurant do not go hand in hand. Root down defies the odds and provides an exceptional airport dining experience. They offer a great drink selection including a good variety of beers on tap and the menu has something for everyone. Definitely a little pricey, but that is to be expected when you're eating at the airport. The cobb salad was one of the best I've ever had. The bartenders were attentive and contributed to an A+ airport meal.

Wow this is the best food I have ever had at an air port! Mahalo Jim for being such a groovy server, you are on it! Delicious Cobb salad, just what I was looking for 😋 all the essentials, blue cheese, tomatoes, eggs, bacon and more that just pairs perfect. Added tofu 💕 2 mimosas and you are ready to fly 🥳
