Specialties: Reren 's specialties are homemade Lamen noodles ! Lamen (拉麵) Lamen has been served for over 4,000 years in China and are precursors to the Japanese Ramen noodles. Our Lamen at Reren's carries on this history and is made daily in the restaurant with high-gluten whole-wheat flour to produce chewy, flavor-soaking noodles. Established in 2016. Leopold and his wife used to operate Hot People Food, a curiously named truck that served Asian fusion dishes on the streets of Arlington. The couple pushed a goofy, come-hither concept that preyed on (parodied?) human vanity. The truck's slogan was "hot people eat Hot People Food." Reren carries on this tradition in an understated fashion: Its logo features two Chinese characters that translate into -- you guessed it -- "hot people." The English pronunciation of the characters is -- right again! -- "reren."

Oh my! This food was amazing! This is my first time having Lamen but if I had to say it was awesome. I also had the seaweed salad and chicken and pork buns. For the price.you get a lot of delicious food. The service is great and fast. Give this place a try and you will be full and extremely satisfied!

Checked out this restaurant while on a trip to DC. I happened to stay in the Chinatown district so they were walking distance from my hotel. The food was delicious! We liked it so much we went twice during our stay. The chicken wings were fried to perfection! The lamen had great flavor and wasn't overly spicy. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be stopping by!

No frills in this place but it’s clean and the layout makes sense. Mai Tai was a 10/10. It had a certain delicate balance with cherry, mango and pineapple backing up a strong pour of decent rum. Scallions pancakes (ordered without beef) and veggie dumplings were each some of the best we’ve ever had. Would come back just for those. Then we got lamen. The lamen noodles were long and really tender. The broth was high quality and all the ingredients in it were fresh. Namely the beef shank in the kung fu lamen which is usually my biggest concern. Buddha Style Lamen: 7/10 Kung Fu Lamen: 9/10 (it is pretty spicy so be careful)
