I stopped by Red’s Fish Market around 10:30 AM, not realizing the kitchen didn’t open for another 30 minutes. One of the employees kindly offered to work something out so I wouldn’t have to wait, and I really appreciated that level of service. I ordered clam chowder, and the lobster roll—everything was absolutely amazing! The lobster roll in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had—totally worth the price. On top of the delicious food, the customer service was top-notch. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of even before the kitchen officially opened. I’ll definitely be going back again!

Went to Red’s Best at Boston Public Market yesterday for the first time. Ordered a cup of clam chowder, the lobster roll, and a side of fries! Best lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. It was a large portion, fresh, and very filling. Definitely will be recommending this place to fellow colleagues who travel to Boston often! Thanks to Colin for the amazing customer service as well!

Their kitchen doesn’t open until 11 but they were so kind to have our food ready for us by 10:15. Renato and the gentlemen at counter were great. The Lobster roll was fresh and flavorful and the clam chowder was creamy and tasteful.

This is the place to get a good lobster roll. Red's sells raw fish retail, but they also do prepared food, and the lobster roll is very, very solid. Good flavor, good size for the (pretty steep, but market) price, and the right balance between dressing, celery, and lobster meat. And it seems to be more freshly made than other places nearby.

My wife and I came to Boston for a concert and the food scene. I read about Red's on Google. The reviews were not false. This place is fresh and delicious. We each got a bowl of clam chowder and split the lobster roll. Holy crap! I should have got my own lobster roll. Soooo good. Chowder has been the best we have had. It is our 2nd place to try it, and we thought last night's was good. Red's beats it by the amount of clams. Back to the lobster. Man, it is like you dove and caught it yourself. Fresh, delicate and delicious.
