The basil chicken and the eggplant were delicious. The food came out quickly and the service was very pleasant. However, I RECOMMEND YOU PARK ON THE STREET. We parked in the garage behind the building and ended up having to pay $20 for parking, the car was parked almost 3 hours, a total of $28, minus the $8 validation. I would have liked the warning of how much or how long I could park.

Hubs and I came here for dinner on a Wednesday night, about an hour before closing. It was quiet. We found metered parking right infront of the restaurant. It was our first time at the restaurant. Food turned out way better than we expected. The Hubs loved the wings so much he ordered them to go as well. Gyoza was one of the best I have had. The sauce was just right. My entree was the Pad Prik, it was a lot and it tasted so good. I wanted more spicy and got the chili oil. Boy was it spicy and good, woke up my senses. Hubs got the pad Thai and he said it tasted so good. Icing on the cake, our waiter, Eileen. Sweet, attentive, caring. She gave good recommendations and waited on us, constantly checking up on us. Overall, a good experience and we may have found our favorite Thai restaurant in Charlotte. We shall be back for many more date nights.

I got the shrimp fried rice. The taste exceeded my expectations. It was pretty good and flavorful. I like the chili lime sauce that comes on the side. I would've given 5 stars, but I feel like they really should give more than 5 shrimp for a $16 dish of "Shrimp" fried rice. The location is great. Customer service was good. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I will be back!

I had a great experience at Rai Lay Thai. Khemphet was very friendly and took care of my party. Their food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their orders, and I placed orders to go! It's vegetarian friendly, so I enjoyed my tofu dishes. Whenever I'm in the Charlotte area, I will definitely return!

I used to go here all the time when I lived here 6 years ago. I just came back and beelined it here. Only ate one dish: Kao Soy. So awesome. Can’t go wrong. Not a fan of their mixed drinks but come for the Kao Soy!
