I had an amazing experience at Purple Roots! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine hospitality made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a spot with incredible food and top-notch service, Purple Roots is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

This was hands down the most enjoyable meal I’ve had in a long time. Every bite tasted genuinely home-cooked — the kind of food that makes you feel cared for, like you’re being welcomed into someone’s family kitchen. There’s a real thoughtfulness in how the dishes are prepared. The flavors in my meal were distinct and harmonious, not just a random mix, but something crafted with intention. Vera was an absolute standout. Her warm, upbeat attitude truly elevated the entire experience. She made me feel right at home, and you can tell she takes pride in making sure guests are well taken care of. I had other dining plans this week, but after this experience, I know I’ll be back for dinner — and probably more than once. Also try the Buko Pandan, trust me. One small note: I ordered my meal through a touchscreen, which prompted me to tip at checkout. While convenient, I worry that it might not always reflect the level of service the staff deserves. Thankfully, I had some cash on hand and was able to leave an extra tip — and I was glad to do so. 4/17 went in for lunch. Nora was amazing and Gilda the owner came and spent time speaking with me. What an amazing group of people here. Jacksonville you are lucky !😃

Not only was the food absolutely delicious - the service and vibes were top notch! Chef Kiko and Evana cooked everything perfectly - flavors were fantastic and presented in such a splendid way. I got the Kare-Kare beef short rib, Fish balls, Longanisa Topsilog, and for dessert Buchi and Turon - all excellent! The ambiance is cozy, modern and displayed "Pinoy" pride. The service by Nora was also spectacular. This is best Filipino restaurant that I have been to in Florida! I will definitely coming back to this gem.

Amazing flavors, amazing experience, amazing people. Everything I ate had that home grown vide, feel & taste. Nora was awesome, she kept checking on me like she was my aunt or my mom. I love her energy so much! All that said, I do not at all like the ordering kiosk. I would much rather have a menu in hand where I can order at my own speed.

The dishes were delivered so beautifully! What colors and attention to detail! When local Filipinos are filling the joint you know you may be on to something! Wow, the flavors! Delicious!! Will be returning for sure. Staff was so friendly and nice change from the average restaurant. Appetizer, 2 entrees, side of rice, 2 drinks 65 bucks. Great prices. Atmosphere was aesthetically on point.
