Went for my birthday and service was fantastic, but I'm not really sure how the whole thing comes together. Course order, portions, and timing as a whole felt a bit gimmicky(?) I ended up eating 9 dishes: amuse bouche*, appetizer, pasta, small puff cheese pastry bite, entree, sorbet, pancake*, dessert, ice cream (* were supposedly for my birthday, not sure if other tables didn't get them) The actual 4 course prix fixe listed on the menu were only appe, pasta, entree, and dessert. So guess I got more than what I knowingly paid for, but the portions for the main 4 were disappointingly small. Food itself was good, which made it more disappointing I didn't get more. Came out stuffed, but felt like I had more dessert than the actual meal. Personally wished they cut all the small intermediates, and emphasized their good main dishes more. Maybe I'm just too traditional

I went to Pineapple and Pearls for a wedding reception dinner and was amazed by the quality of service and food. Each dish was crafted with clear care and precision. The ingredients were very high quality, food was served with little wait time, and the service was extremely professional and nice. The atmosphere of the alternative location was very private feeling, like attending a nice cozy dinner at someone's house. The surprise course at the end was a wagyu burger giftwrapped with a matchbook and postcard. Highly recommend :)

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Such a special night. Thank you to Cosmo, Nicole, Duncan, and the whole P&P team for an insanely magical (not to mention delicious) evening. We’ll be back with a vengeance!

Pineapple and Pearls can be best described as a NYE dinner party with close friends. The staff here are energetic and attentive creating an engaging and festive atmosphere. Dishes are inventive and thoughtful, balancing creativity and luxurious ingredients. Highlights include the signature Beggar's Purse (caviar, creme fraiche in a saffron crepe) and Marco's Gnocchi (buttery and loaded with black truffles). The wagyu beef with cornbread takoyaki was another standout. The non-alcoholic pairing is also worth exploring and each drink nicely complements the unique dishes (especially loved the pandan cocktail). We especially loved the casual and interactive format, and the staff here are wonderful. When they saw that my wife and I were splitting each dish to share, they surprised us with an extra portion so we could each have our own. P&P is perfect for a special occasion or food enthusiasts eager for a memorable night out and an evening experience that is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. Would definitely dine again!

From the moment we walked in, Pineapple and Pearls made our anniversary feel truly magical. Every detail was thoughtful, every course a revelation. The team somehow manages to strike that rare balance of warmth, creativity, and polish—making you feel both completely at ease and utterly spoiled. As a vegetarian, I was blown away by the innovation and care that went into each dish. Nothing felt like a substitution—everything was intentional, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Each course surprised and delighted, and the pairings were spot-on. The Chef’s Counter gave us a front-row seat to the artistry happening in the kitchen, and it felt like we were part of something special. Thank you to the entire team for making our celebration so joyful and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
