Before I get to the review I’ll preface this by saying that I grew up on Pho and Vietnamese food so I have certain expectations of what I think is a good bowl of Pho. Second, I want to address a misinformed reviewer who got delivery and complained that the broth wasn’t hot enough to cook their rare steak. This person might not get take out Pho regularly but it’s nearly impossible to keep the broth hot enough with delivery unless you want to burn through the plastic it’s delivered in and the meat is always kept in a separate plastic bag so as not to overcook it. What you should do is warm the broth up in a pot, then pour it over the noodles and meat so those don’t get over cooked. That’s the best way to ensure the closest thing to eating it at a restaurant. Now to my review. I had hesitations about this place given 1. it’s in bougie Larchmont village 2. it was giving pan Asian vibes with their extensive sake list and a decent amount of non-Viet items on the menu. That said, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Viet food is here. Like this could possibly be one of the best Phos in LA proper (not including SGV or OC). The broth is clear but also rich and deeply flavorful without tasting salty. It’s just a very well balanced beefy, hearty, umami broth that I’ve been struggling to find in LA. The levels of the toasted spices are perfect (not too heavy on the star anise, etc). I honestly don’t think I needed to add hoisin or even lime. They give you plenty of meat and it’s topped with a generous amount of cilantro and green onions which reminds me a bit of the pho you get in Hanoi. There were a few reviews complaining about the price. It’s about $18 for the classic pho with three types of meat. I’d say that’s a fair price especially considering the location. How is it that a bowl of pasta without any protein is $30+ but a noodle soup that’s been stewed all day and comes with multiple types of ample meat is expected to be cheap? Not that I want to pay more for pho but it’s worth more than almost any pasta dish you can get and I will die on that hill. Also got the egg rolls which came with lettuce and greens to wrap it with which is the way I grew up eating it. The dipping sauce had the perfect balance of fish sauce and not watered down like many places. Points all around for authenticity here. Finally, I want to point out that customer service was above and beyond friendly. My waiter, not sure if he was also the manager, came by multiple times to ask me if I needed anything including extra broth or noodles.

Super scrumptious! The pho tasted so clean and delicious. The vermicelli noodle dish with tofu was also very tasty. They even gave my 3 year old her own pho dish, which she enjoyed. We'll be back!

2/22/2025 - Having lunch at an upscale Vietnamese restaurant in Windsor Square, neighborhood in Los Angeles. Indeed, this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Los Angeles. For example, the broth from Beef Medley House Special or Beef Rib are delicious, and the taste of Vietnamese coffee is also very authentic without seeing an ice cube while others put a lot of ice cubes in one cup.

We loved our lunch dining experience. The pho was outstanding! The broth was richly decadent and full of beefy goodness. The service was lightning fast. The price point matched the quality of the food making it a good value.

Definitely one of the better pho spots in the area. Their house special is $24 and it's a bit more pricey than other places but it's in boojie Larchmont therefore the price is justified in my opinion. The house special has a large piece of rib meat, oxtail, brisket, and tendon but it does not take away from the pho flavor. Great add to visit at Larchmont. Will definitely frequent this place!
