Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time! Visited this shop for the first time on a Tuesday morning around 8 am. It has a small indoor area with seating and a parking lot on the side of the building. I was greeted by a super sweet barista who was so helpful and friendly. I ordered a lemon croissant pastry that she offered to warm up, a large black coffee (amazing!) and a bag of the same beans that was made for the drip to take home. These particular beans were so nice, smooth, buttery and most importantly not very acidic. If you are looking for good coffee beans to gift a friend or brew at home yourself, I would highly highly recommend the bag I have pictured here! I am looking forward to returning and trying the other beans they offer.

I ordered the Ibarra Mex Mocha, which was pretty good. This is a nice small coffee shop with a hip vibe with decent amount of seating. The staff is friendly and is able to handle a big crowd and online orders. They really love their job and enjoy conversations with their customers, that was really nice to see.

What an awesome little place with a big statement! I grew up in Compton my entire life. I was so proud to support this business yesterday. Everyone was welcoming. The service was great and the atmosphere was a vibe! Now the LATTE!!!! Omg I am an avid coffee drinker and I cannot stop thinking about how amazing it was. The coffee cake was so good I don’t get a chance to take picture! Thank you Patria coffee. I will definitely be back

The Latin vibe here isn’t curated it’s lived. You’ll hear cumbia, reggaetón, or just simply Spanish Vibes playing softly in the background, el olor de café recién hecho drifting in the air, and the sound of familiar laughter from the staff behind the bar. It’s in these small, mundane details the ones people forget to notice where Patria really shines. Cómo te saludan por tu nombre, how the espresso is pulled with patience, not performance. That’s where the corazón of this place lives in the little things that make a spot feel humano again. Geoff has always been a solid presence in the space. Back when I used to stop by more often, we’d catch up en pequeñas pláticas that always felt natural, never rushed. You could feel how much he truly poured into this place into the atmosphere, into the coffee, y más que nada, into the comunidad it represents. If you happen to read this, Geoff appreciate you, brother. You’ve built something honest and beautiful here, de verdad. I used to come by a lot when I worked in Long Beach. Patria’s just a short walk from the nearest Metro station, which made it the perfect spot during my commute. Whether I had time to sit or just needed something pa’ llevar to the studio, this place always gave me a second wind. Even now, when I’m in the area, I make time to swing through just to reconnect with that feeling. Patria isn’t just a coffee spot. It’s a piece of Compton’s cultural heartbeat rooted in heritage, carried by comunidad. Lo sientes in every sip, every small detail, and every welcome nod from across the counter.
