Food is not too bad but don't expect great quality as other typical Japanese restaurants, then you won't be disappointed. Agedashi tofu, crispy salmon skin, crispy rice, and fried chicken skins (cheap too) are pretty good. I can just buy multiple orders of fried chicken skin for a road trip. Keeps you awake and tastes good too. Highly recommended the tofu amd chicken skins. Calamaries is a bit salty and chewy, and has too much and a bit raw (hence strong flavor) yellow onion slices. I'd prefer it with less batter on the outside. Sushi rolls are good. I like the way they cut slices smaller than other restaurants which is a lot easier to chew, to follow etiquette (swallowing whole pieces). I'm a bit surprised by how there's not a single of decoration pieces on the black walls. The lights were dim and the dinning room was a bit gloomy. It could be improved a bit to be more inviting. There was 4 servers for an Asian restaurant of that size on Friday, I'd say that's really good.

Popped up there on a whim for a dinner on a Thursday evening. The place was half-full and fairly loud. Based on reviews, I expected it to be on a fancier side but it’s actually quite simply decorated. They say they’re understaffed but it doesn’t feel this way. There are two employees that are doing a great job waiting tables. We ordered takoyaki, tonkotsu ramen with grilled chashu and miso tonkotsu ramen with chicken karaage. Takoyaki was a bit mushy inside and the sauce on the top resembled ketchup. Both ramens were so salty we couldn’t finish them. In general, food was delicious and rich, but that saltiness made everything else tasteless. I would probably pay another visit but maybe for sushi rolls instead of ramen.

This is the best sushi place in town. I have been coming here for a couple of years and the food has always been amazing. Perfectly cooked and the salt and pepper calamari is like nothing that I have ever had before. The cheese wonton are super creamy and always so good. I usually have the Peterson Road sushi and it is great. I have tried a lot of the menu and it is awesome. You need to try this place and learn what great food is in Colorado Springs.

Went there for the first time. There’s a ton of things to try from the menu. 9/10 would recommend, each roll is ~$15 but the portions are decent. Recommend the Takoyaki for an appetizer. Would come back again

The sushi was delicious and fresh, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It did get a little loud in there, but that's okay. We all left satisfied. I think the favorite of the rolls we ordered was the Smokey. Yum!
