As a kid I went here often and liked it every time. This was my baseline for how American style Chinese food is done. Coming back these days, I can’t help but feel the food has lowered in quality. I feel like you folks changed chefs or over time you decided to save money on power by cooking food a little less, save money on spices by using a little less over time, and you’re using more MSG to compensate for the lack of char and spice.

The food wasn't bad, it was just extremely basic. The fried rice was just white rice, apparently fried in soy sauce. Good fried rice has egg or vegetables/green onion to add color and flavor; to spruce it up. Not with this cook. The beef broccoli was okay, just very basic and blah. The beef was meh. Very uninspired. The restaurant itself was comfortable, clean, and inviting. The staff was polite and attentive. My total for lunch special and soup was $19.55. I don't think it was worth that.
