Lobster roll was good but not spectacular. We got it cold with mayo, you can also get it hot with butter. We also got the scallop dish which wasn’t great but not terrible. The scallops tasted extremely fishy and salty. Oysters were good! We got there at 12 on a beautiful Saturday day and waited about an hour. Customer service with exceptional. The restaurant is very small and not a lot of seating. There is a restaurant across from them that serves cocktails to go that several people got while waiting

I was excited to go to this place. The lobster roll was good but not amazing. Johnnycake was DELICIOUS! Tuna tartare with bomba pistachio pesto was amazing!!! Waitress was very rude in a few moments. It was very busy. Food came fast. Place is small, you need to wait in line but it was a nice experience.

📍Neptune Oyster 63 Salem St. #1 Boston, MA 02113 Neptune Oyster is one of those rare spots that manages to feel both iconic and intimate at the same time. Nestled in the heart of Boston’s historic North End, this cozy little seafood haven makes a big impression from the moment you step inside. The space is tight, with just a handful of tables and bar seats, but that only adds to its charm. The star of the show here is, without a doubt, the oysters. Neptune boasts an impressive and ever-changing selection of East and West Coast varieties, each shucked to order and served with pristine presentation. And then there’s the legendary hot lobster roll—arguably one of the best in the city. Served overflowing with tender lobster meat and drenched in warm, decadent butter. Pair your meal with something from their thoughtfully curated wine list, which is surprisingly extensive for such a small spot. Be warned: Neptune Oyster does get busy, and there’s almost always a wait. But don’t let that deter you—it’s well worth the time. Go early, put your name in, and take a stroll around the neighborhood. This place is a Boston staple for a reason. Cozy, flavorful, and full of character—Neptune Oyster delivers every time.

Every time I come to Boston I make sure to come here, on this trip we came here twice. Best seafood in Boston plan on waiting in a long line, but it is well worth it. All the food is extraordinarily fresh flavorful, and the portions are very reasonable for the price. Best quality of food. You can’t go wrong with anything here

Came here today to try the hot lobster roll. The portion was generous, and the lobster meat was very fresh, sweet, and juicy. One thing I noticed was that the roll was less buttery than I expected. It might be because the portion here is larger than other places I’ve tried, so the bread itself is also bigger — which may have made the buttery flavor feel less rich or evenly coated. I ordered it with a side salad, which added a nice freshness to the meal. The staff were friendly, and there was a good variety of oysters to choose from. Overall it was quite good. 🦞🧈✨
