My Ramen & Izakaya

A group of 7 people from the Denver Hungry-Hungry Asians and I went to My Ramen & Izakaya, located in Boulder, CO. The drive from Denver to the location of the restaurant was a little bit long, but worth it once you taste their food! You might not be able to spot the location since it is located away from the main street, so be on the lookout for it. Looking around the restaurants, it is quite small, but they were able to seat the 8 of us comfortably. The atmosphere was like dining with your family. To start our dining experience, some of us ordered appetizers. These include shrimp tempura, edamame, tori karaage, and California rolls. In my opinion, the best was the tori karaage. This dish was made with boneless chicken and fried with some coating. I didn't try with the yum yum sauce, but eating one of these alone was a good experience. I enjoyed it very much. Six of us ordered ramen as our main dish, and I am so glad I was one of them. I started with the tonkotsu broth and added the shrimp as my protein. You can not go wrong choosing this broth. It was delicious! Slurping on the broth itself, I can imagine being in a noodle house somewhere in Japan. The flavors from the broth was so good! The ramen itself was chewy, just the right texture to eat. Other than the broth, my next favorite part of the meal was the eggs. Eggs were marinated to perfection. So good! We were offered some tea from Happy Dumplings, a nearby restaurant whose relationship and collaboration with My Ramen & Izakaya was perfect. The taro tea I got was so refreshing. Just one sip, and you'll want more of it. If you are in the Boulder area or are looking for a ramen place to go, I highly recommend My Ramen & Izakaya. They do it right!

The restaurant features a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting that creates the perfect mood. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be returning soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best in town! I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I was truly impressed. Their ramen had a unique and amazing flavor that I haven’t found anywhere else. The sushi was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The lemon ginger tea paired perfectly with the food. The cozy and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were fast, friendly, and very welcoming. I will definitely come back here once a week!

Best Ramen ever! Seriously. Home made Japanese noodles, incredible pork Tonkotsu. We’ve been all over Asia and can say this is legit! We also had the curry Ramen and I can say the flavor was just perfect, not too strong not too mild. Sweet spot. The atmosphere was delightful, the owners were lovely and very hospitable. Can’t recommend this place enough. Come on Boulder support this local business! This is coming from a Kansas City resident. You don’t know how good you have it!!
