My wife and I were staying at the Longleaf Hotel and Lounge, in for the Pearl Jam Dark Matter Tour 2025. We asked Sherry if she could recommend a place to eat. Sherry told us Mulino Italian Kitchen, which is right across the street. My wife looked to see if she could order a meal to pickup, which she did. I have to say once we went there plans changed. The staff were so accommodating, when we decided to eat the meal there at the bar. They changed everything from takeout to a wonderful dinner setup. It wasn't just take takeout and put it on a plate. No, it was a nice Italian meal presentation. I was so impressed that I dropped off my wife as planned at the Levono Center in Raleigh. I returned to Mulino. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend you plan a visit here, sit at the bar, Ben,Tim, or Brandan will be glad to see you. (Tell them Ed from CT recommend you stop by) If you are like me, I like to make sandwiches and sit and eat food with my fingers,then I recommend Tagliere, a combination of Italian meats,cheeses,olives, some sweet peppers,and pickles. (See photo). I also recommend a Cappuccino w Black Samuca. Once again, Ben,Tim,and Brandan, great job, really enjoyed our conversations . Thank you for making this visit so memorable.

My niece planned her 21st birthday dinner here and it was a beautiful experience. The vibes here are perfect. I love the outside at night by the water and the lights make it the perfect ambiance. The bread was yummy, the drinks were perfect! The food was good but not great, except for the steak and the pizza!

We’ve been here twice and each time the food is just as good as the last time! Sometimes it gets busy on the weekends so a reservation is definitely needed. But was able to get a table for 4 on a weekday at 6 pm. The lasagna is probably one of their best dishes!! But all the pasta is just as good. Service is always great and the drinks are also delicious and tasty!

What a beautiful atmosphere and such a vibrant energy here! The people were so welcoming and the management was just incredible. My boyfriend and I did find the food a little salty, so we mentioned it to our lovely waitress Megan, who was super sweet and kept offering to replace or refund our meals. We politely declined, but then the manager came by and was even more amazing—he insisted we choose two desserts on the house! Honestly, it made us forget all about the saltiness and just enjoy every moment. We left feeling so taken care of and truly happy. Highly recommend!
