If you find yourself near Harvard, you absolutely must drop by Mr. Bartley’s Burger Cottage. Just a five-minute walk from the metro station, this burger joint is a Harvard institution in its own right. Known for its mouth-watering burgers, Mr. Bartley’s offers a variety of unique and flavorful combinations that are well worth the price, even though they might be a bit on the expensive side. During our visit, we opted for takeout due to a scheduled guided tour of Harvard, but the experience was nonetheless memorable. The burgers are substantial, crafted with high-quality ingredients and a touch of local charm that elevates the dining experience. Each burger is a work of culinary art, thoughtfully assembled to ensure every bite is as satisfying as the last. A friend who lived in the area had recommended Mr. Bartley’s to us, praising not just the food but also the vibrant atmosphere of the place. He was right; the energy inside is just as delightful as the food. While the prices are slightly high, the burgers justify every penny with their exceptional taste and quality. For anyone visiting Harvard or just passing through Cambridge, stopping at Mr. Bartley’s Burger Cottage is a must. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that captures the essence of the local culinary scene.

Our Culinary 🧑‍🍳 Travels have taken us to Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage in Harvard Square. We Ordered a mix of Fried Pickles and Jalapenos 😋 Appetizer that were very Tasty 😋 with Ice Cold ❄️ Beers 🍻. Burgers: 😋 Single College Town with Grilled Onions and Mushrooms with Onion Rings,😋 Masshole topped with Pulled Pork and Sweet Potato Fries , 😋 Cottage Deluxe with Sweet Potato Fries 😋 and a few more Ice Cold ❄️ Beers 🍻. The Burgers were Delicious 😋. The Service was Excellent and our Waitress was on Point 👍. Definitely Recommend Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went with my family of 5 and the service was amazing. Hilarious menu and super friendly staff. The food came pretty quickly. The meat was juicy and the bun was delicious. Portion sizes were great, would definitely recommend.

Try the macaroni and bacon burger. So good!! Visiting from the west and wanted to have lunch somewhere fun and real. The menu is creative, the burgers were delicious and the atmosphere was a must experience.

A must visit quick and easy casual burger joint with some unique names and combos. Think Bob's Burgers type menu. But came way before the show. Wasn't a fan of the onion rings but that would be my only real complaint. The cheese steak egg rolls and the burger were perfect. Worth noting that there is no bathroom in this sit down restaurant. They will point you a few doors down to a cafe/bakery/coffee shop. Quirky. May be a bit of a hassle if you need to get up in the middle of the meal and you have a lot of things with you but manageable and worth tolerating for the food. Parking was easy, place was clean and the staff was very friendly.
