My husband and I have been coming to Mona Lisa Fondue for years. At least 2-3 times a year we visit for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, just for funsies- any reason to fondue! And we make the drive from the Denver area because it’s worth it. From the service to the ambiance to the food- the have the Melting Pot beat in every possible way. Let’s talk about the service: it means something to have servers who not only know the menu and the food, but also enjoy their job. I don’t mean their life’s ambition is waking up to serve melted cheese and chocolate, but that they like working with people. And they like working with one another. That shines through. The ambiance: I’ve been to the other place and it’s loud. You can’t hear anyone at your table talk. That’s challenging when you are trying to have a romantic meal or intimate gathering. Or even just a conversation. The Mona Lisa feels comfortable and cozy. There’s enough space for any group but it doesn’t feel like all the groups are encroaching on one another. But the food. That’s the star of the show! The food at the Mona Lisa tastes fresh and clean. The salads are great. The fondue is wonderful and not only do they have the traditional flavors you expect, but also some rotating seasonal options for more adventurous eaters. For the main course, you don’t dip your meats/veggies in broth to cook them, you grill them. This is a HUGE upgrade in the flavor profile and it’s honestly a little more fun. You have several main course options, as well, some of which rotate for seasons. Then the chocolate dessert. Oh my. I’ve never been disappointed. From plain milk or dark chocolate to fancier options like flaming turtle or cookies and cream. Everything has always been incredible. We just left and I already can’t wait to go back. Don’t sleep on this restaurant! Whether you’re visiting Manitou Springs for the day, the weekend, or just for lunch, put this on your list!

I cannot say how much I really love this place. The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for a date night. This time round I took my youngest son for the first time with fondue he was sooo happy. Drinks are amazing his favorite was desert. The server was incredible and patient with us. I also like the spring break discount we got for students.

Amazing and romantic. Went here for our 18th anniversary and the entire experience didn't disappoint. Fondue service was amazing. We got a special treat to celebrate our anniversary too. Highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We had a wonderful night. The place is beautiful with great ambiance. It’s perfect for a date. Menu is large with many options. Lots of wine options as well. Matthew was our server and went above and beyond for us to have a great night. Sadly, he was the only one working tonight! He was running from one table to another . This kind of concept, requires the server to take his time and explain everything, and bring all courses to every table and so on. Truly I don’t know how he managed to do it. Also, we had a reservation, and arrived on time. There was no one at the entrance. We waited over 10’ before anyone acknowledged us there… and was Matthew of course who saw us and asked us to wait a few more minutes. later a lady came with the menu, didn’t even looked at us and took us to the table. In the end we had a great experience thanks to Matthew but it’s kind of wierd to go to an expensive restaurant like this and have this kind of service… We had the four course meal. Chose the garden salad/and Caesar salad, Brie fondue and It was great. Chocolate fondue was amazing.

This place is such a beautiful setting for date night, anniversary or any special occasion. Jasmine was our server and she is so helpful and such an asset to the business. We loved it. The price is per person and you each pick your own course 1 & 3. Course 2 & 4 is shared! It is so fun and absolutely delicious!
