This is hands-down the best sushi restaurant in Winston Salem. They have some very original rolls that are incredible. My favorite is the Hokkaido roll, which has apples in it. Also love the sunrise roll. You can't really go wrong. We've tried at least half the rolls on the menu and have never been disappointed. They do get busy, especially on the weekends. And it does get a bit noisy when the Wake Forest students get rowdy. But the food is worth it. Always fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and great service. Been coming here for years now, and it has been nothing but consistent from the beginning. Even through the pandemic, they continued their quality through take-out. Here tonight, in person, for the first time in over a year, and all I can say is "Bravo!" Still the best sushi around.

We adore Mizu. We come regularly, and we absolutely love their sushi. We feel so lucky to have such a top-tier, fresh, and consistent sushi establishment, right by our residence. Always delicious.

Overall, a great little restaurant! Sushi was delicious. A little busy on a Sunday night, but the staff and servers were very attentive and helpful. Sushi was delicious and kept well as leftovers for a second dinner the next day! Would definitely try again. The sashimi dinner was an awesome value and great for sharing.

What a find!!! Friends invited us and wow never knew about this little gem. Wife and I shared "Love boat" for 2 and was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and food appeared quickly and fresh, looking forward to going back.

I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment. I have been coming here for years, and this is some of the best sushi I have ever had, and it is located here in my hometown, what a diamond! The staff is always courteous and friendly, ensuring you have what you need and checking in on you repeatedly. The sushi is always good, as well as the hibachi. I primarily get sushi when I come here because it is so good, but I have stray away and gotten hibachi before, and it was delicious as well, however their sushi trumps everything else on the menu. I usually start off with some sort of appetizer here, and this time I got the Japanese spring rolls, which were some of the best spring rolls I have had before. They were adequately filled and fried to perfection. I am also always impressed with their sanitation rating, as it is always a 98 or greater. I cannot recommend this place enough. There is ample parking, and the restaurant is pretty big, so no need to make reservations. Also, beware, they are closed on Tuesdays (weird), so do not try to go get your sushi on Tuesday like I did a few weeks ago.
