Standard tea house serving good dim sum. Since the dim sum is to order, it would suggest everything is served hot. Most of it was except for the Fried Taro dumplings with pork filing. Tasty large har gow. Good freshly fried taro cakes although the sauce they used is a hoisin-oyster sauce (NYC uses straight oyster sauce). Good shrimp cheong fun, zhaliang (rice noodle wrapped around youtiao/fried dough) and black bean spare ribs. I’m not a huge fan of all your food coming at the same time because the whole point of dim sum is to have a leisurely meal - I prefer the carts which then you can decide if you are full. Tea is always charged whether you drink it or not, it’s similar to a cover at restaurants in Italy. Jan 2025

Solid dim sum place, four of us went for Saturday brunch. I am not a dim sum connoisseur, but I’ve had it a handful of times and always enjoy it. We ordered 9 dishes in total to share, including two desserts. Everything came out quickly, and the staff was very attentive. Every dish was attractive and tasty. There were lots of families in evidence, and it got a little loud, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. At least on the weekends, it’s not the place for a quiet romantic meal, and that’s OK. It was pouring rain when we visited, and there were little buckets at the door to store your umbrella in, which was a thoughtful touch. The price was very reasonable. We got out for $85 including a generous tip, which I thought was a bargain.

I stepped into this place with a craving for authentic dim sum, and it didn't disappoint. The shrimp dumplings were plump and flavorful, and the fried tofu with shrimp paste was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff managed the bustling crowd efficiently. However, the wait time was longer than expected, and the spare ribs were a bit too oily for my taste. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely return for another round of dim sum delights.

Tasty dim sum served in a lively, authentic Asian setting. Great flavors, classic dishes, and a true teahouse vibe. Expect to queue in the weekends.
