I love Mia's Bakery! I'm not really a sweets person, but this is the only place where I can order a Brooklyn Blackout slice and actually enjoy it. In fact, it's the only place I'll take a chance on ordering chocolate cake. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but something about this cake keeps me coming back, it's moist, rich, and has an intense chocolatey flavor without being overpowering. I've always been a Junior's strawberry cheesecake lover, but the cheesecakes at Mia's definitely don't disappoint either. Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to stop in for a slice of Brooklyn Blackout cake and either strawberry or cherry cheesecake. I've even gone out of my way just to "coincidentally" drive by Mia's and grab my sweets! I've also tried the Chocolate Layer Cake, Red Velvet and Carrot Cupcakes, and a few pastries, but I tend to stick with my favorites, if it ain't broken, don't fix it! I've never sat inside to enjoy my desserts, but they do have a nice seating area. Ordering is always quick and efficient, I'm usually in and out within three minutes. I visit both the Times Square and Brooklyn locations, and have never had any complaints, but I will say the Brooklyn location is my preferred bakery!

Mia’s Bakery in Brooklyn is a gem! I ordered a matcha latte and it was absolutely delicious; smooth, rich, and not too sweet. I also had a ham and cheese croissant that was perfectly buttery, flaky, and packed with flavor. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing! The service was excellent, fast, friendly, and welcoming. The staff made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Wow! Great pastries and pies. The tiramisu was okay, banana cream pie was amazing, apple cheese cake was light and creamy. Each slice was about $10. It is expensive, but the quality is there. This is a must try bakery if you are in the neighborhood.

I have loved coming to Mia for years (generally enjoying their coffee, Greek frappe, pastries and spanakopita), but never left a review until now. I couldn't wait any longer especially after hosting our daughter's 7yo bday party at Mia's Bakery. David and his team really did an amazing job planning and executing our event on a Sunday noon in their private patio, including relocating our party inside at the halfway point due to rain. The kids had a blast (making their own custom cupcakes) and our daughter was super happy! The staff was friendly and attentive, everyone had a great time, including parents! As for the food, everything tasted delicious, and the strawberry shortcake was a big success (also not too sweet!). David suggested our daughter to draw what she wanted on her cake, we sent a picture and they had it printed on the cake, which absolutely made her day, she was so proud! Thank you David and all the staff at Mia for making our daughter's birthday a happy and memorable day for us all!
