Peruvian Steak Sandwich / spicy aji amarillo marinated steak, Oaxacan cheese, herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes, romaine, potato roll - 5 🌟! Spicy Dijon Potato Salad - 5 🌟! Beets and Farro Salad - 5 🌟! Mendocino Farms opened up in Los Feliz in March on the corner of Sunset and Hillhurst. I am happy to see them here and went to try them out today. They are a fast casual expansion focused concept. They are also part of the local food source movement. I know some people resist expansion style concepts, but I hope they give Mendocino Farms a try because they excel at creating amazing tastes and flavors. The Peruvian steak sandwich was so so good. I am going to be dreaming about those flavors tonight. I will come back to try their entree salads, but on this visit, beets and farro plus spicy Dijon potato salad were a perfect accompaniment to the steak sandwich. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and honestly reasonable prices. I was here at lunchtime, and they had a nice crowd, so it is nice to see the neighborhood welcoming them. I walked over since I live close by, so I'm not sure about their parking, but they have a nice vig space with lots of tables.

They have real good high quality fresh made sandwiches. We had the farm club and also Chimchurri steak. Both are done right and have great flavor. Portions are good. For about $12 per sandwich. They also have salads and if they match the sandwich in quality, I bet they are good.

We read reviews of the Hollywood "... Greens" restaurants first and gave up on them. So we tried Mendocino instead. And we will be back. While reading the menu on the wall at the entrance, a charming person came up to us to offer and help we might want. Thank you for that and we did have questions. The food: I got the Bahn Mi half sandwich with chicken tortilla soup, with a side of beets. My partner tried the BLT. Great surprise at how perfect were the quantities and flavors. Fresh. Good crunch. No soggy bread. We ate it all. Fair prices. Comfortable atmosphere.

My experience from the moment that I walked in was spectacular. The space was very clean and I was greeted immediately. I knew that I wanted a sandwich, but I wasn't sure which one. The team member took their time to describe some options and helped me pick an amazing option - Chimichurri Steak. I RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AND SANDWICH. Also, the Lemonade options were amazing. GUAVA LEMONADE ALL DAY! YUMMY ALL AROUND.
