This place is so worth it! Really big portion and we enjoyed dinning in. We ordered the sashimi combo and the fish is so fresh and the portion of the mixed tempura is so big. The truffle salmon carpaccio is also delicious. The service is awesome and the decoration is so pretty.

The fish is so fresh and I loved the 12pc sushi set. The price is 33 and it’s totally worth it. It’s way high quality than the price. The tempera ice cream is also really good. Seafood ramen soup tastes great and it’s good to get some hot soup visiting Santa Monica.

Loved this place! If you’re looking for somewhere in Santa Monica that’s affordable, stylish, and delicious, this spot nails it. First off, the vibe is super cute — definitely a place where you can snap some great photos, whether you’re out on a casual date or just hanging with friends. Plus, it’s only two blocks from the beach, so you get that perfect post-meal ocean stroll. Major bonus: there’s a public parking lot nearby with 90 minutes of free parking — a total lifesaver around here! Now, the food: I ordered the sashimi and the volcano roll, and both were fantastic. The sashimi was fresh and generous, and the volcano roll was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. Everything felt really trendy and fresh without the crazy Santa Monica price tag. If you want a spot that’s great for a casual date, catching up with friends, or just treating yourself without breaking the bank, this is the place!

Such a hidden gem near the beach! Stumbled upon this spot while walking around Santa Monica and was seriously impressed. The decor is super cute with floral ceilings and cozy patio seating—perfect for a relaxing meal.We ordered the Maru Special Ramen, 12pcs Sashimi Combo with Spicy Tuna Roll, Chirashi Bowl, and the Orange Volcano roll. Everything was fresh and flavorful!The ramen broth was rich but not overly salty, the sashimi was super fresh, and the sushi rolls were packed with fillings. Prices are very reasonable for the area (around $20–25 per person), and there’s even 1.5 hours of free parking nearby.They’re open until midnight too—perfect for a late-night food run. Service was friendly and fast. Definitely coming back!

Our first time at this restaurant. Really nice spot near the beach. Spacious indoor and a patio space. The restaurant has great Japanese decor with Sakura ceiling and many movie posters. Friendly and patient staff all around the restaurant. The food has good portion. We started with some refreshing cucumber salad and takoyaki. The otoro sushi is a must-try. Great texture and quality. The orange volcano rolls come with a special fire performance. Really good presentation. Super dragon roll combined the crunchy tempura and the soft eel, as well as a mixture of flavors. Very creative dish! Overall a wonderful experience considering the environment, food, and the Will definitely come next time!
