I have known this restaurant for years and it is really commendable that they have been able to endure all the challenges that the industry has had since the pandemic. It is a true testimony to their commitment to their business and their food and service is evidence of this. If you want to try Cuban food, this is a very good place to do it. They are very consistent across their menu. Their seasoning is on point, though a little more subdued than the iconic Cuban restaurants in Miami. In addition to the Cuban classics, they have more options to try. You will leave satisfied, no doubt. The service is welcoming and effective. The restaurant atmosphere is ok. Nothing really to highlight there, but it is clean, organized and comfortable enough for a casual lunch or dinner. Again, if you are in the mood for Cuban food, then this restaurant is a good option. It is permanently in my list of ethnic restaurants to visit in Jacksonville.

My family and I had a wonderful dinner here the other day. The food was incredible and the service made it that much better. Luis was wonderful! He helped with suggested my Cuban born husband loved it all! It wasn’t our first choice for dinner but I’m sure glad we came. Everyone really enjoyed their food including the kids! The Cuban sandwich was huge! I highly recommend Mambos! The only complaint I have is it was close to closing and they started sweeping the floor as we were finished up eat. Not our waiter but someone else. They also turned off the music 10 minutes before closing. We were really enjoying ourselves.

Mambos is always solid for good Cuban Food in Jax Beach area. Cuban sandwiches come with fries which are really good. Empanadas, croquettes and plantains are decent. Can be a lil pricey, although cheaper than other places in city. Appetizer and 3 sandwich plates, with water to drink ran about $80. Staff is very friendly and place is clean with good atmosphere.

I've been here twice in one week just for thier Arroz Con Pollo and Cuban Sandwich. Both DELICIOUS! Great hospitality and service in this restaurant and you definitely get what you pay for. The food is great and see myself coming right back lol. I definitely recommend eating here, it's family oriented and great for a lunch/dinner date.

The staff were so helpful. The place was cozy and the food was so beautiful & delicious. They got the black beans and white rice perfect. I love me some coconut shrimp. Once I i was finished, I though I was going to order one more - but nope - I had to eat the whole black beans and rice and got stuffed. My girl's order had the black beans and rice. I tried it and got a side for me, that's how I got my portion. Song through Mambos. You'll love it!
