I found this place by chance and was surprised to learn it has a Michelin star. The food completely lived up to it. I had the spicy sizzling noodles, and they were perfectly balanced…just the right amount of heat with a bright citrus kick that made every bite SO yum. The service was super fast, and it felt like the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying dinner. At $17 for a big, flavorful bowl, the price felt more than fair. The staff were also really friendly and cool. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend going.

Update May '25 Came back with more time and, wow. Cocktails were inventive, noodle dishes were fantastic, staff was great. Highly recommend the... everything on the menu. Haven't tried the brunch option, but I've had basically everything else. All around fantastic. ----- Stopped by for a quick bite before going to a party. Wow. I'm definitely going to come back when we have more time. Of the baos, the chicken was the weakest link. It was still good, but just dramatically overshadowed by the other two. I don't even like mushrooms, but still scarfed down my half of the mushroom one. The scallion pancake was simple but delicious. The soy sauce they gave us as a dip was very high quality, way better than the typical soy sauces (and way better than the processed wheat filled ones you find at cheap Chinese places) Lastly, the dumplings in broth. I haven't unabashedly drank the broth that came with dumplings like that since my last visit to Yuan Wonton. That's the only place I can think of that can compete in the same league as MAKfam I know of in Denver. All around, very impressive. Can't wait to try their full menu instead of just a quick few small plates.

I like the atmosphere in this restaurant, very vivid, different from a traditional Asian restaurant. But unfortunately I can't say the same thing for the food I ordered. The noodles was too salty and oily . The fried rice was also overly salted. The spicy chicken bao had a very unique flavor which I don't like. The only one that was tasty is the green onion pancake. The service was good. But different waiters and waitress would come every 10min to check if we need anything. It is nice they want to make sure the customers are happy, but personally I felt the frequency was too high.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Denver for a while now! They’ve god dishes and drinks that I’ll just crave and can’t get anywhere else! The service is always friendly, and even though it’s gotten a lot busier since its Michelin recognition, the vibe has remained pretty down to earth and friendly/welcoming. Some fave foods: Corned Beef FR; Scallion Pancakes; Sizzling Spicy Noodles; and Málà Mozzarella Sticks. They’ve also got great cocktails and a lot of natural wines. I recommend going on a non-weekend day if you don’t want a short wait, or want a quieter visit. To order food there you’ll be sat at a table so you can look at a menu, then you walk up to the front and order. They’ll give you a placard to mark your table and bring out food and drinks as they’re prepared.
