Wish I could give a full five stars but the last three times I’ve eaten at this restaurant the servers have been inattentive compared to my first times at this restaurant. I don’t know if it’s discrimination or what but before I can even get my drink order out the servers are running away from the tables, not introducing themselves, or making any recommendations, not even asking if my party has been here or not. Today in particular my server Matt was very rude and acted as if he could care less about my group today which directed me to posting this review. On another note, the food and decor at this restaurant are amazing and even the other workers running the food to the tables show more care and were more kind to us than our actual server.

We ate here while in Jacksonville to tour the university where my daughter will be going in the fall. I was looking for a place with availability on a Saturday evening and luckily I stumbled upon Maggianos online. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, atmosphere was calm and inviting, and our server Noah was phenomenal!! If you are in Jacksonville and want really good Italian food with amazing service, then you need to dine here. Prices are fair for the quality of food. The fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic was very good. The fettuccine Alfredo (with and without shrimp) was delicious as was the shrimp scampi. The Italian chopped salad could have used a dash of balsamic but that is the only thing I would do differently. We will definitely dine here again when we are in Jacksonville!

Our birthday dinner got off to a late start ( late arrivals) but the staff was prepared with excellent service. The tomato bruschetta was tasty with nicely toasted bread wedges, chicken piccata was very tasty with lots of sauce w capers. Lasagna was a bit dry and didn’t have a chance to eat dessert though it sounded excellent.

Great food! I ordered an espresso martini and vodka pasta with chicken. I love the complimentary bread. The espresso martini wasn’t as creamy and more heavy on the espresso side. Definitely stronger than how most restaurants make but it was very delicious! The vodka pasta was fantastic. It had the perfect amount of sauce. The chicken I decided to add was decent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive.

Attended a graduation party here and had a great experience. The food was delicious! My favorites were the crab cakes for appetizers, the chicken piccata as the main course, and the butter cake for dessert. Absolutely amazing! I also enjoyed the fried zucchini and calamari appetizers. There was one pasta dish that wasn’t quite to my taste, but overall, everything was well-prepared. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the event.
