I absolutely love this restaurant! I first tried the location in Denver, and this one is just as consistent and amazing. Their buttermilk biscuits are my favorite—so fluffy and delicious. They also serve fantastic preserves like blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, orange marmalade, and apple butter—all of them are incredibly tasty. I also highly recommend their Bloody Marys—so flavorful! That said, the restaurant itself is really small and gets very crowded. They have a waiting area upstairs, but the stairs aren’t ideal for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. It’s also a very tight squeeze when eating, which can make it feel a bit cramped.

Lucile’s Creole Cafe is an absolute gem with authentic creole selections made from scratch! We started off with an order of beignets - perfect little powder sugared puffy pillows of deliciousness. Husband ordered pain Perdue (French toast either praline sauce) and I chose the blueberry pancakes. Our food was hot, fresh & delicious. Our server, Nicki, was great; kept our coffee cups filled. Excellent choice while visiting Colorado. If you’re lucky enough to be near Lucile’s do yourself a favor and check them out! Highly recommend ❤️

Really amazing brunch! Had the mountain trout dish and was very impressed. I would have liked the portions to be a little bit larger for a brunch place but the flavor and service made up for it. The best biscuits you can find in Boulder and maybe even in Denver. A boulder must try.

Lucile’s is a wonderful place for brunch! They have the best trout and eggs I've ever had, and I love the fresh, warm biscuits with homemade jams. Plus, fresh-squeezed OJ is always a nice way to start the day.
