On our way back to Chicago, my wife and I made a stop in Fountain, Colorado to have our last meal there. We were instantly drawn to this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was filled with good vibes, and a neon sign proudly proclaimed it. What really impressed us was that most of the menu had gluten-free options, as my wife has celiac disease. The soulful music and the amazing artwork on the wall added to the ambiance. The service was top-notch—professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made sure to check on us multiple times throughout the meal to ensure we had everything we needed. Now, let’s talk about the food. During our stay in Colorado Springs, we found most of the local cuisine to be quite mediocre in terms of flavor. But Luchal’s was a complete game-changer. The food was show-stopping, bursting with flavor, and soulful, just like the co-owner, Chantal. We had the chance to meet Chantal, and it was clear that not only is this restaurant a culinary delight, but it’s also a testament to the hard work and passion of a Black-owned business. Thank you, Chantal, for creating such an incredible experience. Luchal’s is not just a restaurant; it’s a travel destination that we’ll cherish forever.

Stopped in on a Sunday for brunch and we were the only ones there so we didn't have to wait for a table. We were greeted immediately with friendly faces. We had to take a while to order since there were a good number of menu options. We settled on the crab Benedict and the breakfast burrito. Everything had good flavor, but the breakfast potatoes were definitely the star of the show. We also got coffee and a mimosa which were good as well. We decided this place would be worth coming back for dinner, so I'll update after that. We did really enjoy the vibe inside the restaurant with the chill R&B music in the background with black and purple styling. For all we had we thought it was fairly priced as well

Today we decided to experience Luchal's because of all the great things we've heard! We entered the building during a busy time frame, but Luchal acknowledged us right away. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was personable, and the food was amazing. We look forward to supporting Luchal's every time we visit Colorado. Thanks for the great experience.

This is my new favorite place! I've been for brunch and loved the crab meat eggs Benedict. Get it before they sell out of crab! The fried fish is the best I've had outside of Louisiana. The bartenders know what they're doing too! The DJ keeps the place lit. I can't wait to go back. I recently attended an after party with Yung Joc as a VIP. It was one of the best times of my life. Highly recommend. The service is slow but I don't care, everything else is perfection. If you don't like to wait for your food then get up and dance. They have a patio to get fresh air or smoke.
